Amazing Custom Chicken Coops

Chickens need chicken coops, somewhere to stay, and the chicken coop has been around for as long as they have been domesticated.

Should you go with just a plain chicken coop or the deluxe model.

Well, I did this.

I always used to build my own chicken coops wherever I ended up, and the chicken dwelling was no different.

But I had to make my mark on it, didn’t I…

Anyway, I had a rooster at the time I had named Zeus, of course, do you think that I would come up with some ordinary name? Artist remember.

So I decided to use an old sign that looked medieval and painted his name on it.

‘YEY OLDE INN OF ZEUS’

Yes, in medieval letters!

This was hung by a couple of chains on a jutting-out piece of long wood from the roof, and there it was, the first stage of customising my own chicken coop.

Of course…

I could not stop there…

Upon visiting a medieval castle I saw a comical medieval court jester that I took a photo of and with this picture I proceeded to paint it on the side of the corrugated iron wall of the chicken house which was not easy.

I can tell you…

If you have ever painted on corrugated iron sheeting before.

But it was done and the chicken coop was looking grand.

Now I know you just cannot go ahead as I did and paint such a scene on your chicken coop unless you have artistic tendencies…
