When a hen decides that she would rather have her own hen house to be in your house.

You are in for an experience of really having a chicken as a pet.

When people think of chickens, they think of chickens more like you would on farms.

Chickens being outside but inside the house?

That’s right here is a chicken that has had a dog as her friend since she was a chick.

But what happens to dog-loving chickens and wanting to be with them…

Bazaar to think of a dog that wants to be with chickens, you would think that they would be chasing if not attacking them.

But here is a dog who prefers the company of chickens when his owner is at work.

What would you do on those days when you are alone, go to the hen house and hang out with the chickens.

I have read about the unique friendships that are struck up between two different species of animals, and this is just another one.

I have been amazed to see what really goes on out there in the animal kingdom.
People would be surprised to see this…

Yet so many people are so wrapped up in their daily lives that mainly concern themselves.

Instead of seeking out stories that just stop you in their tracks.

The friendship with this dog and having all those quiet days could only end up with something different that might just happen.

As it did, whatever would poses a chicken to go inside the house when they have all that open land to run around.

I think that this hen most probably followed the dog inside.

Watched the dog move the flexible flywire at the entrance of the door.

Remember, this hen would learn by watching.

So she did the same…

And like the environment that she had now found herself in.

You could say she found herself a very big hen house indeed, with all the trimmings.

And can you imagine how she decided that stairs were to be conquered?

She most probably looked up the stairs and with curiosity behind her.

She would have been negotiating one stair at a time till it got so commonplace that the first story of the house became where she wanted to lay her eggs.

Yes…

That bedroom with that fluffy bed could not be ignored, and most probably every time she felt the urge of an egg coming on.

And why not!

What better place to lay an egg in comfort.

There is one thing though that you can not get past, and that is a chicken’s ability to poop a lot.

And being house trained is not on a chickens agender.

This is the only downfall to having a chicken in your house.

And if you can get used to cleaning the poop off the floor or where ever it might get.

Think about having a chicken in your house now and then, as they learn, and you will be amazed as to what they will start to get up to.

And yes.

I have had chickens in my house once in a while, the amusing feathery pet, along with your pet buggie of course.
